Daniher spent one day a week at Essendon this season aftermaking the decision to join the Bombers over Sydney under the father son rule.
The 18-year-old said being able to spend the time with theBombers coaching staff throughout a busy 2012 has assisted him in hisdevelopment.
“I have had the chance this year to go down to EssendonFootball Club and learn off the best down there,” Daniher said.
“To have the ability to work with guys like James Hird andMatthew Egan has been huge for my development and hopefully I will be able towork with them for years to come.”
Daniher told TAC CupFuture Stars he was looking forward to officially becoming a Bomber in afew weeks time.
“It has been a long process that has taken a couple of yearsbut the last month or so has crept up and I am just looking forward to theopportunity (to play AFL),” he said.
“It has been a long one but it has given me the chance toplay different sorts of footy and improve.
“I am under no illusions that the next time in my footballcareer will be difficult but this year I have had a great chance to play withsome of my mates at the Calder Cannons.”
The 201cm big man said it would take him a few years to workout whether his best position was up forward or in the ruck.
