Essendon has made one list change following the 2024 AFLW season, with Lily-Rose Williamson informed that she will not be offered a contract for the 2025 season.

The forward played eight games across her three seasons at the Bombers, including three this year.

Williamson was signed as an injury replacement player ahead of Essendon’s inaugural season, making her debut in round four of 2022 against Richmond.

General Manager – AFLW Aysha Ward thanked Williamson for her contribution to the red and black.

“On behalf of the club, I’d like to acknowledge Lily-Rose and her involvement in our AFLW program over the past three seasons,” Ward said.

“Lily-Rose will always be an inaugural AFLW Bomber, and we wish her all the best for her future endeavours.”
