A number of the players who are in America attended their first baseball game in San Diego to watch the Padres take on Colarado Rockies at Petco Park.
A stray foul ball ended up in the stands and in the hands of Bombers midfielder David Zaharakis who was sitting along side teammates Heath Hocking, Dyson Heppell and Luke Davis.
The players will continue their holidays for a further few weeks before returning to pre-season training in November.
This season, six debutants were given the chance by the Bombers to taste AFL football for the first time, ranging from a 19-year-old from the inner suburbs of Melbourne to a mature aged 24-year-old recruit from Western Australia.
