Come and help celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the 1962 Premiership win at the 2002 Essendon Football Club Chairman's Season Launch later this month. Tickets are currently on sale for the event which is being held on Thursday 21 March at the Palladium Ballroom, Crown Towers. As well as marking the official guernsey presentation for season 2002 - the Chairman's Season Launch also celebrates the 1962 Premiership and pays tribute to the late Jack Clarke - captain of the 1962 team.

All current players, as well as many of the 1962 players will be in attendance. Joint Master of Ceremonies, Tony Charlton - will take guests through the 1962 segment of the evening with interviews and discussions with past champion Essendon players such as Geoff Leek, John Birt and Barry Davis. Olympian Ron Clarke will pay a special tribute to his brother Jack - 'My Brother Jack'. Guests will also hear from senior coach Kevin Sheedy and Bombers skipper James Hird - as the club officially launches the Bombers attack on season 2002. Jumper Presentations to Damien Peverill, Danny Jacobs, Shane Harvey,Joel Reynolds, Simon O'Keefe, Andrew Welsh, Paul Salmon, Scott Howard, Adam Winter and Ken Hall will be made.

The evening commences at 6.30pm for 7.00pm and includes a three course dinner and drinks.
