Essendon has made a further list change today, with Sam Weideman not offered a contract for the 2025 season.
The Bombers thank Weideman for his contribution to the club over the past two seasons.
Joining via the 2022 Trade Period from Melbourne, Weideman played 17 games for the red and black, taking his total career games to 76.
AFL Talent and Operations Manager Matt Rosa thanked Weideman for his services.
“I’d like to thank Sam for his contribution to Essendon over the past two seasons. These decisions are never easy but Sam handled it with maturity and professionalism,” Rosa said.
“We wish Sam all the best for his future endeavors and he will always be a part of Essendon.”
