Matthew Lloyd had a precautionary scan on his thumb earlier today following an incident on Saturday night. The scans have revealed there is no damage and he will be available to play on Friday night against the Kangaroos. “Matthew had a scan at Epworth and the good news is there is no structural or tendon damage and he is an absolute certainty to play this weekend,"" fitness coach John Quinn said.
In the last two matches since Matthew Lloyd has returned from injury he has collectively kicked 11 goals. Not a bad effort by anyone's standards but Lloyd is still not satisfied. Although the dual Coleman Medallist is pleased at being consistent in front of goal against West Coast and Sydney he is disappointed the team didn't return from Sydney with the four points and now have their backs up against the wall again heading into the match against the Kangaroos.
