In a memorable farewell season at Essendon, James Hird excited the fans with his slick skills and footy smarts right until the very last game.
 
Securing an impressive 8.48 on his final BomberLand reportcard, Hird was undoubtedly the fans’ favourite this season and his game winning ability will be sorely missed by Essendon supporters.
