General manager of football operations Paul Hamilton said the duo, along with David Zaharakis, could bolster the Bombers’ line-up after the side went down to North Melbourne by 24-points yesterday.
“It will be great to have both Brent and Paddy back this week,"" Hamilton said.
""Brent will provide some much needed run for us and obviously Paddy is important for his ruck work and his ability to play up forward.
“While yesterday’s result was disappointing, the good news is that there are no initial injuries to come out of the game.
“The boys have come to their recovery session this morning and they are sore but in terms of injuries – at this stage, there isn’t any.""

2011 Crichton Medallist David Zaharakis is also a chance to return to the field this week, but will undergo fitness testing later this week to determine his availability.
“David is training this week with the intent to hopefully play so we will wait and see what the medical and fitness staff say.”
Hamilton said Kyle Reimers would be a chance to return this week, but David Myers looks set to remain on the sidelines for at least another week.
“Kyle will be back this week and he would have played through the VFL if there was a game,” he said.
“David is still in rehab working through his calf injury but it is unlikely he will be back this week.”
Bomber veteran Mark McVeigh was recently placed on the club’s long-term injury list, replaced by recent debutant Brendan Lee.
“Mark was put on the long-term injury list last week after he had some ongoing concerns with his knee,” Hamilton said.
“He is probably going to have to undergo some work on it later to get it completely right.”
“It is a massive game for us and the future is in our hands. We are still in the top eight and we need to win games,” Hamilton said.
“Our minds are quite firmly on the game this week and we’re looking for success.”
