It might not be the Bombers’ best side but it is getting very close to it. This Friday night in Mildura Essendon will have its final – and arguably its most important – hit out of the pre-season. Lloyd and Fletcher are back, Hird has been included as have Jason Johnson and Dean Solomon. But it certainly won’t be a training run with Richmond also naming a very strong side.
