Essendon Football Club has received nominations from 6 members for the 2 available positions on the Board this year.
It is therefore necessary to conduct a ballot.
Along with Tim Jonas and Phil Pryor who are re-standing for directorship, nominations have been received from Ray Collins, Vito Guzzardi, David Nedinis and former director Brad Teal.
This year, at the approval of the Board, we are implementing an electronic voting process for the casting of your ballot. We strongly encourage you to participate in this democratic, exciting and innovative process and show your ongoing support for your Club. For members without computer access, postal voting procedures will remain available.
The election process will be independently handled by Computershare Investor Services (Computershare), in conjunction with Mr. Bruce Walmsley S.C., the Returning Officer of your Club, who will advise the Board of the results, shortly after the close of ballot at 5.30pm on Thursday 9th December 2010.
Results will be announced by the Club at the Annual General Meeting, to be held at the Clocktower Centre, on the corner of Mt Alexander and Pascoe Vale Roads, Moonee Ponds on Thursday, December 16th commencing at 7pm.
For your Ballot vote to be effective, it must be received by the Club no later than 5.30pm on Thursday 9th December 2010.
