Just one week after playing his 100th game for the Club, rugged on-baller Damien Peverill has been dumped from the Essendon senior side. Peverill and youngster Ricky Dyson paid the penalty for the Bombers sluggish performance against Brisbane at the Gabba last weekend.
With the suspension of David Hille, the Bombers have brought three players into the side. James Hird will play his first game for the season as will Mark Bolton while Jason Winderlich has been recalled. Joel Reynolds was left out of the squad named on Thursday.
Essendon will bring James Hird back into the side this week after missing the first two games of the season with a calf strain. Hird along with Bolton, Reynolds and Winderlich will be admissions into the Bomber squad. David Hille is the only change so far due to a forced suspension.
