Essendon Football Club can confirm Andrew Lovett today had an intervention order placed on him in the Magistrates Court. This order was based on an incident that allegedly took place some months ago. The Club has counselled Andrew and will continue to support him through its player welfare program. The Club will not be making any further comment on the matter.
