Michael Hurley's expected return offers light at the end of a darkening tunnel for an Essendon side which has now crashed to three heavy defeats in four weeks. Friday night's 94 point loss to Hawthorn was the Bombers' biggest loss of the season. But as the Bombers manage a series of soft-tissue injuries, coach James Hird said Hurley was likely to return for next week's crucial match against Adelaide at AAMI Stadium.
