This week, Andrew McGrath and Jordan Ridley visited the Place family, loyal Bombers fans, to support their campaign, "A Dad's Will: To The Moon and Back."

Stu Place's inspiring push involves virtually cycling the 15,451-kilometre distance from Melbourne to the towns of Moon and Back (USA) – a testament to his dedication to finding a treatment for his son Will's rare genetic disorder.

Dons support a Dad's Will

The funds will support life-saving treatment research for Will and others fighting the condition.

As of Friday afternoon, Place has raised more than $296,000 as he continues his motivational ride.
