Have you ever wanted to play a part in the development of a future Bomber player ?
Essendon is currently seeking to expand its database of families available to host young players.
Each November and December, we have a new intake of recruits that need accommodating for 12 months - 2 years and the club is looking for families who are willing to share their home and family life with a young player.
Maybe you will help the next Scott Gumbleton (who is from WA) or Tom Hislop (from Tasmania) reach their potential by providing a good, stable home environment in Melbourne.
Preferably, you will:
Live locally to Essendon Football Club
Have facilities in your home to comfortably accommodate a player (own bedroom necessary)
Be available to provide care and guidance as required
Be willing to undergo a police check and a screening process
All host families are reimbursed for costs incurred.
For further information, or to register your interest, please call Leigh Russell, Manager – Learning & Development on 9230 0329 or email lrussell@essendonfc.com.au

Essendon’s pocket-rocket, Andrew Lovett, impressed fans again this season with his blistering pace and flair on the football field. He is establishing himself as a player that the opposition sides need to watch out for given his ability to change a game off his own boot.
