Essendon has been blessed with excellent captains including current leader Matthew Lloyd.

But with Lloyd now 30-years-old and other likely candidates, David Hille and Mark McVeigh, both around 27-years-old, fans might wonder who will be the likely choice in five years time?

In this week’s poll we ask Bomber fans to crystal ball gaze and tell us who they think will be captain in 2014?

Last week we asked Essendon fans if they were happy with the club trading pick 39 to Geelong for Brent Prismall?

An overwhelming 95.63% of fans said ‘yes’, just 3.16% voted ‘no’ and 1.21 % of fans picked ‘maybe’.

Here is what some of the fans had to say about the Prismall trade.

Frank from Vic says: Very happy with the Prismall trade. I wanted him all along while I thought we would have to give our third round pick with Lovett to get it across the line so very happy we got him and got to keep the exciting Andrew Lovett.

Andrew from Altona Meadows says: An extremely good pickup! The better news is keeping Andrew Lovett though. We only gave up a low draft pick which is credit to the club for getting such a great player for practically nothing at all. My only issue with Brent is his injuries. Hopefully he isn't injury prone with the Bombers and has a good recovery and a great career!

Diane Trask from Bacchus Marsh says: A good pick up, should slot in the team nicely when he is fit.

Guy from Toorak says: The Prismall trade was awesome. Thanks guys.

Damian from Vic says: Great trade!! Give him the No.32 Dons!!!

John Copeland from QLD says: Very excited about Prismall .. he's a gun .. can we have an estimation on his return from injury rather than just the old he's expected to play in first half of season?

Nathan from Sunbury says: Great trade. It’s about time we did something good in trade week. He is definitly worth a second round pick or higher. What a steal!

Pringa from Berwick says: He has the potential to become a star.

Ian Smith from The Patch says: Pick 39 for Prismall is cheap. He is strong, quick and a good thinker and the best thing is, he is young. Great choice Bombers, can't wait to see him Bomber colours in 2009.

Ian Smith from The Patch says: We do need fast, strong and clever players on the forward line. He would add versatility, a classy left foot and strength.

Shane Martin from Portland Vic. says: Happy,I am over the moon with how little we had to give to get Prismall. What a deal.

Greg Kemp from says: It all depends on his rehab - he looks the goods but can he recover from the ACL injury?

Andy from Melbourne, says: Prismall is a great player it's a shame he can't play untill the middle of season because of his injury. GO THE DONS !!!

Gareth Percey from Kingston, Tasmania says: One of the best trades we have executed in recent history. Get his knee right and we could be in for an exciting ride...... Well done boys

Korn74 from Victoria says: We got an absolute bargain and gem of a player, trust me I've seen this bloke play, super skills and athlete will be a leader of the club someday. Great pickup Bombers. Can’t wait to see you on the ground PriZZ.
