Lloyd has four pairs of the imported boots and will be able to get a pair to the Gold Coast in time for tomorrow night’s match. However, he would like to have the bag returned.
""I hope the bag can be returned. I don’t imagine they (the boots) would be much use to anybody else – they can just drop the bag back from where they got it and no questions will be asked,"" Lloyd said.
Essendon players James Hird, Andrew Lovett, Jason Winderlich and Andrew Welsh spent some time at Sea World yesterday and got very friendly with one of the locals. Wendell the sea lion was a more than accommodating host taking the players for a ride around the Sea World pool. He even gave Andrew Lovett and kiss goodbye at the end of the visit.
