The Bombers are hot and so is young utility Marc Bullen, who was the National AFL Rising Star nominee from round 19. On the day that teammate Matthew Lloyd was kicking his way to 11 goals, Bullen added two of his own and is making up for lost time this season after playing just two games in each of 2001 and 2002.
Essendon is set to regain at least one of its missing stars from last week's game. Bomber coach Kevin Sheedy confirmed at training this afternoon that Jason Johnson will come back into the team after missing the Richmond game with an ankle injury, however defender Sean Wellman is not a certain starter. ""Johnson will play and Wellman will be a good chance. He is probably 80% chance at the moment. He has had a back related injury - he really never tore a hamstring, he more just stretched it,"" Sheedy said.
