After a deflating loss against Brisbane, Essendon will need to improve sharply this Friday night when they take on the reigning premiers Hawthorn at Etihad Stadium.

Maranatha from Ferntree Gully says: McPhee, although not big-bodied like Brown, should play on him, given McPhee played a really good game last week once he returned to centre half back. After all, his best season at the club to date - 2004 - was when he spent most of the season running off the half back line. Hope Fletcher has a really good 300th game, even if he's likely to match up on Bradshaw.
