Essendon has named an unchanged line up for its Round 2 blockbuster against Hawthorn on Friday night at Etihad Stadium.

The Bombers have decided against bringing Jason Winderlich back into the side despite the livewire forward recovering from a hamstring injury.

Martin Gleeson, Zach Merrett and Patrick Ambrose have all retained their place in the team following an impressive debut against North Melbourne.
