Essendon fans have spoken! More than 1700 Bomber supporters took up the chance to name their best 22 on the BomberLand website last week. The selections have been collated and we can now present you with the final team. There were some interesting results.

Patrick Ryder will make his AFL debut in the Bombers season opener against Sydney on Saturday night. Scott Camporeale will be the other big name in his first official outing for Essendon, while Chris Heffernan will pull on the red and black for the first time since 2002.
