In an exciting first, fans will be able to listen to every Essendon VFL away match in 2015 via the Essendon Football Club’s exclusive VFL LIVE radio stream.

Beginning Sunday, supporters can follow the VFL Bombers via the live stream on their desktop, or alternatively, on-the-go via the EFC app on their smart phone. The link will be available on essendonfc.com.au leading up to the match.

The live broadcast will include play-by-play commentary; regular crosses to the boundary, as well as half-time and post-match interviews with Essendon players and coaches. It will begin five minutes prior to the first bounce, running siren-to-siren, and conclude five minutes following the final siren.

Additionally, fans can follow the team via Essendon’s VFL twitter account (@EssendonVFL), which will provide updates regular and live scores throughout every match, as well as exclusive match-day photos and interviews with players and coaches.

Essendon’s VFL outfit is set to get kick off round one in flying form on Sunday against Sandringham after a near flawless pre-season campaign.

Coach Hayden Skipworth admits the team has worked hard to set a platform from which it can launch this weekend at Trevor Barker Oval, after successive pre-season victories over Richmond and Geelong. 

“We played the way we wanted and had a really good hit out going into round one,” Skipworth said.
