Essendon VFL forward trio Kyle Hardingham, Jacob Thompson and Daniel Willis are proving a deadly combination at the right time of the year.

The three have combined to boot a total of 30 goals in the last four weeks.

“It’s been a fantastic effort from those guys,” VFL Coach Hayden Skipworth said.

Thompson and Willis have played just nine games between them this season.

Their work through the forward half has seen them cement their spots in the side for the Bombers finals campaign.

“Obviously ‘Brucey’ Willis and ‘Thomo’ took a while to get into the team, but for them to come in for the second half of the year and contribute the way they have has certainly exceeded our expectation of them.”

The trio, led by the experienced Hardingham with 32 goals for the season, and Thompson and Willis who have chimed in with 18 majors collectively, will play a major role in Saturday’s Semi-Final against Footscray.
