The AFL website is counting down its most memorable moments of 2015 and the Bombers round two win over Hawthorn has made the cut.
The Dons entered the match after an impressive round one showing against Sydney.
They held the advantage for most of the game but Hawthorn mounted a charge after half time.
Midway through the final term, Essendon trailed by 16 points but goals to Jake Carlisle then Travis Colyer had the Bombers back in the game with just over a minute to play.
