Young Bombers have thrilled in a great display of their bright futures at the recent AFL Under 16’s High Performance Academy Carnival held at The Hangar.

The carnival saw eight Victorian AFL clubs field NGA sides chock full of exciting talent and there were plenty of encouraging signs for those in the red and black.

We spoke to impressive youngsters Isabel Rowland and Reese Sutton, and Essendon female football development coordinator and VFLW skipper Courtney Ugle to see how the Bombers fared at the climactic conclusion of their eight-week program.
