Essendon VFL has claimed a 15 point victory over Williamstown at Windy Hill Oval.
The lead changed multiple times throughout the game but it was the Dons that held on and collected the four premiership points.
Josh Begley was the leading goal kicker with the forward kicking four and finishing with 11 disposals, five tackles and three marks.
Darcy Parish returned from injury and ended the day with 27 disposals, four marks, two tackles and one goal.
David Myers and Jordan Ridley were also impressive. Myers had 24 disposals, four marks and three tackles while Ridley was impressive overhead with 13 marks and 23 possessions.
Joel Ottavi showed some promising signs in his VFL debut. He booted two first quarter goals.
