Cale Hooker and Darcy Parish will return from injury when Essendon take on Brisbane at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Josh Begley is a chance to make his AFL debut after he was named in the 25-man squad.
Matthew Leuenberger was also named on the extended bench with Shaun McKernan the only omission confirmed at this stage.
Hooker missed last week with a finger injury, while Parish returns from a calf injury.
The final 22 will be announced at 5pm on Friday.
Kids will be admitted free of charge for Sunday’s game, there will be a special lego play zone and there will be kick to kick on the field after the match.
