Bombers esports has announced Luchio 'Soulstrikes' Park as its new head coach, completing a new-look line-up for the OPL Split 1 reigning champions.
Soulstrikes was previously the head coach of Legacy Esports from mid-2016 until the end of 2018, before moving to South Korea to coach the ES Sharks in the Korean Challenger Series.
After a dominant split by the ES Sharks that culiminated in qualification for the promotion series, Soulstrikes returned to the OPL to join the reigning champions.
Fluent in English and Korean, Soulstrikes will be an invaluable member in helping the Bombers excel in Split 2.
Head of esports Nathan Mathews said he was thrilled to secure such a highly regarded coach.
"We are honoured to have such a high-calibre coach join the organisation," Mathews said.
"Soulstrikes has proven to be one of the best coaches in the region and I am excited to see what he can do with the new Bombers line-up.
"Due to losing three of our six members to international transfers, the team will be starting from complete scratch. Soulstrikes will play a huge role in getting the team ready to fire by Gauntlet."
Soulstrikes joins Jinwoo 'Wilder' Jung and Carlo 'Looch' La Civita as new additions to the Bombers' OPL team, which is now finalised.
