In accordance with the constitution, Kevin Egan and Jo-Anne Albert were the retiring directors in 2011 and as they were the only two candidates to nominate as directors, they are deemed to be duly elected and will be sworn in at this year’s Annual General Meeting.
Essendon chairman David Evans said he was delighted both directors had been re-elected.
""Kevin has been a valuable member of the club's board for over 15 years and as a past premiership player he is a great Essendon person and supporter of the club,"" Evans said.
""Jo-Anne is our only female representative on the Board and since joining in 2008 has demonstrated a great passion and enthusiasm for the Essendon Football Club.
""It is fantastic to have Kevin and Jo-Anne serving on the Board for another three years and I look forward to working closely with them both.""
In other changes to the club’s Board this year, Paul Brasher has joined as Finance Director filling the casual vacancy following the retirement of long standing Finance Director Tim Jonas.
2000 Essendon premiership player Chris Heffernan has filled the vacancy left by retiring director and former Chairman Ray Horsburgh.
Essendon Football Club will hold its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, December 15th commencing at 7pm at the Clocktower Centre, on the corner of Mt Alexander and Pascoe Vale Roads, Moonee Ponds.
