Essendon's VFL team has named its side to take on Frankston in its second practice game of the 2023 pre-season.

With first bounce slated for 3:10pm AEDT today at The NEC Hangar, the Bombers will have seven AFL-listed players feature in its reserves hitout.

Forwards Matt Guelfi and Kyle Langford will enjoy their first competitive games this pre-season as they both push for round one AFL selection.

Key forward Harrison Jones will spearhead Essendon's VFL attack today after featuring in two AFL practice matches.

Dons fans will also be able to get their first glimpse at new recruit Quinton Narkle, with the former Geelong midfielder named to face the Dolphins.

Today's game will not be streamed, but fans can tune into Essendon's VFL social media channels for coverage of the game.
