For those Essendon supporters who couldn't get along to this year's Crichton Medal, the Fox Footy Channel have come to the rescue. Fox Footy will screen a half hour highlights package from the night at 8.30pm (EST) tonight. The package will also be replayed throughout the weekend. So tune into tonight to see Mark Johnson claim the 2002 Crichton Medal. Replays of all other awards will also be shown.
The alignment between Essendon and the Bendigo Diggers has been given the green light after the Bendigo Football League and its constituent clubs today voted unanimously in favour of endorsing the formation of the Bendigo Bombers. The support of the BFL - which had not been forthcoming a week ago - was the final hurdle that needed to be cleared and it has paved the way for the alignment to go ahead.
