On Friday night the Bombers were on the wrong end of a massive Fantasy game by Todd Goldstein who finished with 56 hitouts, 27 disposals and 175 points.
Midfielder Brent Stanton (122) continued his impressive season, taking his five game average to 112. Stanton’s 30 disposals were complimented with 8 tackles, the highest by any Bombers.
Dual position player David Zaharakis (87) played one of his better games of the season to bring his breakeven down to 74. At $364,000, the FWD/MID is some value if you are looking for a mid-priced stepping stone at this stage of the season. Make sure you check out your Elite league free agency as he is possibly sitting there and would be certainly worth picking up.
In his four games, Nick O’Brien (72) has increase $104,000 and that won’t be the end of it. His breakeven is currently -9 and will continue to reward his owners if he can play like he did on Friday night. The midfielder collected 20 disposals and five marks.

ON THE RADAR
With Tom Bellchambers on the sidelines, Shaun McKernan (49) has be shouldering the majority of the ruck load.
We might see Jonathan Giles (RUC, $342,000) make his Essendon debut following his impressive showing in the VFL. The former Giant racked up 22 disposals and kicked two goals. McKernan has increased $122K and the trade to Giles in Fantasy would cost $31K. This wouldn’t be a bad option considering Giles averaged 82 in his first season at GWS.
WHAT’S COMING UP
Saturday night the Bombers host the Power at Etihad Stadium.
When they last played, round 16 2014, David Zaharakis was the top scoring Bombers with 118 points in Essendon’s two point victory.
