The Bombers start to the second half was a lot brighter than the first. Travis Colyer kicked a left-foot goal 30 seconds into the term after good lead up work from Orazio Fantasia.

After Eddie Betts kicked five goals in the first half, Andrew McGrath was moved on to the Crows forward in the second half.  McGrath kept Betts to one goal.

Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti and Kyle Langford started in the middle at some centre bounces.

The Bombers were able to control large parts of the third term through their dominance at the clearances (12-3 in the first 20 minutes of the term).

It led to a run of nine straight scores, but that included just two goals. Still though it was enough to win the quarter 3.7.25 to 2.1.13.

Travis Colyer was one of the Bombers best. By early in the last quarter he had 22 possessions and three goals.

Andrew McGrath picked up five possessions in the first six minutes of the last term. This was perhaps the best game of his four match career.

Despite an improved second half, the Crows booted the final three goals of the match to win by 65 points.
