Essendon's next phase of games have been released after the AFL confirmed the dates and times for rounds seven and eight.
The Dons will play Carlton on Sunday, May 2 at the MCG in round seven, before travelling north to play Greater Western Sydney at GIANTS Stadium on Saturday, May 8 in round eight.
It means the Bombers will have back-to-back games at the MCG before playing in Sydney for the second time in four rounds.
