Essendon’s 29-point victory over Fremantle on Saturday had some amazing moments and they have not gone unnoticed with Devon Smith and David Myers receive award nominations for their efforts.

Smith has been nominated for the Woolworth’s Mark of the Year with an acrobatic leap that brought back memories of Gary Moorcroft's mark, under the same roof.

Myers was honest and said it was meant to be a pass, but his near-impossible 45-meter helicopter shot from the boundary has been nominated for the Coates Hire Goal of the Year.
