The 2020 Powercor Country Festival clash between Essendon and Geelong will take place at the Gabba on Sunday.
Now in its fifth year, the Powercor Country Festival supports our regional communities and producers, and celebrates their contribution to our country.
A big part of each year’s festivities is the farmers' market, which has gone virtual this year.
With close to 80 products online including homemade jams and chutneys, gin, brownies, the finest local fresh produce and the fan-favourite chocolate pretzel, there's something for everyone.
Visit thefoodpurveyor.com.au to check out the amazing variety of Victoria’s finest-sourced local produce that can be delivered straight to your door.
The Food Purveyor has been involved with the Powercor Country Festival. Nicole Newman, its managing director, said she was excited by the opportunity to help local producers get their products out there during this challenging period.
“For these producers it has been such a tough time for all of them to be able to continue to have businesses stay in business, so this is another opportunity to get their products out there and to be able to showcase them on this stage,” Newman said.
“This Powercor Country Festival has been crucial and critical to a lot of these businesses, and this is another opportunity to showcase what we are capable of from this region.”
