Essendon Football Club has today announced a three-year partnership with McDonald’s Australia.
A long-standing AFL partner, McDonald's will have a prominent presence across Essendon’s digital platforms, with the family restaurant to engage Essendon members and supporters through a variety of activations over a three-year period.
Essendon chief commercial officer Justin Rodski welcomed McDonald’s Australia to the club’s suite of commercial partners.
“We are delighted to partner with such an iconic organisation in McDonald's,” Rodski said.
“In these challenging times, it is a really positive outcome for our football club to have secured a strong partner to assist in strengthening our organisation, so we’re thrilled to be able to join forces with such a powerhouse in McDonald's.
“Bombers members and supporters will be key beneficiaries from the partnership through immersive activations both online and at the annual EFC Family Day, as well as on match-days when we are able to welcome back crowds to games in a safe manner.”
McDonald’s Australia marketing director for the southern region Brad McMullen said McDonald's was thrilled to support the Bombers.
“We’re pleased to be teaming up with Essendon Football Club as we continue our support of the AFL," McMullen said.
“We’re proud to play an active role in communities across Australia, and together with the Essendon Football Club we hope we can help more Aussies enjoy and participate in the game of AFL.”
