Essendon has named five changes for its round 12 clash with St Kilda at the Gabba on Sunday, welcoming back star defender Michael Hurley.
Hurley returns to the line-up after being managed against the Suns, while Jacob Townsend has also been recalled after missing the draw with concussion.
Third-gamer Sam Draper is another inclusion, while youngsters Josh Begley and Kobe Mutch will play their first games of the season.
THE ULTIMATE PREVIEW: SAINTS v BOMBERS
Given the Bombers' four-day break between rounds 11 and 12 and third game in 10 days, Devon Smith, Mason Redman, Aaron Francis and Tom Bellchambers will be managed but expected to be available for selection against Richmond next week.
David Zaharakis also exits the side after suffering a season-ending quad injury.

Fan favourite Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti will play his 100th game on Sunday, becoming just the second player after his idol Dean Rioli to get his name on the No.43 locker.
