Throughout their time in Darwin, Essendon will conduct open training sessions and all players and coaches will be out in the community visiting local schools and remote Indigenous communities.
AFL Indigenous All Stars v Essendon Football Club
Calling all Essendon fans in Darwin to come and cheer on the mighty Bombers as they take on the Qantas AFL Indigenous All Stars on Friday 9 February at TIO Stadium, Marrara.
The Indigenous All Stars, made up of a collection of players from various AFL clubs, are sure to put on a magical display as they set the ground alight with their speed and slick skills.
However Essendon will be more than ready for the challenge, set to prove itself after a solid pre-season.
With tickets starting from only $3 per child, $11 per concession or $19 per adult this is one match not to be missed, so book early to avoid disappointment. Family tickets are also available.

Essendon will be out to meet the public at a training session and NAB AFL Auskick Superclinic. Both events are open to the public so make the most of your opportunity to grab some autographs.
See Essendon’s senior coach Kevin Sheedy put the elite players through their paces in a gruelling training session or take the kids along to the AFL Super Clinic and get them involved in all the fun!

Community Forum
Calling everyone from local sports club administrators to volunteers to come along and hear from the experts at the Community Forum being held on Tuesday, February 6 from 7pm.
The forums are designed to give all associated with football and great insight into the AFL’s latest techniques and best practices.
Coaching Forum
Senior and junior coaches, trainers, umpires and administrators are invited to hear from Essendon’s own Kevin Sheedy and his assistants at the Holiday Inn Darwin from 7pm.
Strength and Conditioning Forum
Essendon’s high performance coach John Quinn will speak about player strength and conditioning on Tuesday, February 6 from 7.30om at the Northern Territory Institute of Sport.
Entry is free and all local sporting officials are welcome to attend.
