The current total stands at $754,942 from 2,855 donors.
Over the last few months the Essendon playing group has pledged their support by getting ON BOARD the Flight Plan and fans joined in a telethon in conjunction with Channel Seven.

Essendon utility Jake Carlisle has accepted a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record after he was charged with a level one offence for engaging in rough conduct. Carlisle is free to play against Geelong on Friday night but is now ineligible to win the 2012 Rising Star Award.
