<div dir=""ltr"">Essendon Football Club is giving two lucky football fans the experience of a lifetime this weekend at the annual Clash for Cancer match. A website auction is being held for the chance for one adult to toss the coin at the Round 18 match against Melbourne and for one child to be the match day mascot. </div>
Essendon Football Club is giving two lucky football fans the experience of a lifetime this weekend at the annual Clash for Cancer match.
The website auction is being held for the chance for one adult to toss the coin at the Round 18 match against Melbourne and for one child to be the match day mascot.
All money raised will go to the Cancer Council to help support their lifesaving cancer research, education programs and support services.
The two packages are:
Toss the Coin
- The opportunity to toss the coin on the MCG in the Round 18 Esssendon v Melbourne match
- Four entry tickets to the Round 18 Essendon v Melbourne match
- An authentic Clash for Cancer guernsey
- A Call to Arms football, signed by Adam Ramanauskas
Please note: Toss the Coin winner must be over 16 years of age. Toss the Coin winner must provide flights and accommodation at their own expense.
Match day mascot
- The opportunity to run through the banner with the team at the Round 18 Essendon v Melbourne match
- Four entry tickets to the Round 18 Essendon v Melbourne match
- An authentic Clash for Cancer guernsey
- A Call to Arms football signed by Adam Ramanauskas
Please note: Match day mascot winner must be between 6 - 12 years of age. Match day mascot winner must provide flights and accommodation at their own expense.
Auction will close at 10am on Friday 1 August 2008.
Essendon Football Club will again incorporate a yellow armband into their guernsey in support of the 2008 Call to Arms campaign and the annual Clash for Cancer match this weekend. The game and the Call to Arms campaign aim to raise funds and awareness for mens' cancers.
