Triple premiership player Bob McClure passed away last night at the age 78 years. McClure played 90 games for the Bombers between 1946 and 1951 and was one of the club's greatest ruckmen. He starred in the 1946 premiership win and was then best on ground in the 1949 premiership victory. McClure was ranked 46th in the Champions of Essendon last season.
