Essendon fans can now see why coach, Matthew Knights, is so excited about the club recently securing 18-year old Darcy Daniher with highlights now showing on Bomber TV.
He was taken with Essendon's pick 39 as a father / son selection.
Darcy, whose father Anthony played over 100 games for both Sydney and Essendon, was eligible to play at both clubs but chose the Bombers because he wanted to be near home and due to his good relationship with Knights.
The 192 cm key position player can play forward or back but says he, like his father, will probably play his best footy in the backline.
Darcy is wearing ""21"" in the Calder Cannons game footage and ""29"" in the Vic Metro footage.
