New recruit Adam McPhee took two marks that featured in the top five. His grab in Round 5 against Collingwood polled the third highest number of votes and his speccy in Round 4 was awarded the fifth best by the Bomber fans. Bomber spearhead Matthew Lloyd also featured in the top five marks of the season so far. His grab in Round 12 in the goal square against the Kangaroos was ranked the fourth best mark by the Essendon fans.
As expected Lloyd also featured in the top goals of the season to date. Lloyd’s soccer like goal was voted the fourth best goal and his goal on the run from 50m out in Round 4 against the Bulldogs received the fifth highest number of votes. It was the skipper James Hird who scooped the pool in the best goals of the season. He was ranked number one and two for his efforts in front of goal in the Anzac Day match. Damian Cupido polled the third highest number of votes for his snap in front of goal also in the Round 5 match against Collingwood.
