Philip from Huntly, Victoria says: Kyle Reimers to wear the number 9 in 2009. He has shown this year that he can take on the game, be committed and play some strong football - this number should be on the back of a player you love to watch play the game.
Diane Trask from Bacchus Marsh says: Kyle definitely. He shows heart and determination as Rama did. Reimers is going to be a great player which Rama could have been if not for his illness. That’s not to say Rama was not a great player, he was.

Caitlin from VIC says: I hope none of the above playas wear the no 9 because I hate it when playas change numbers! They make their number their own and as a supporter I hate getting a new number on my back! I currently have number 37 and would die if Reimers changed numbers! Hopefully a new player gets it! (or Ben Cousins if we pick him up, lol).

Matt from Ferntree Gully, VIC says: Unless there is someone with a ""reason"" to get number 9 I wouldn't be surprised to see Prismall get the number... His fight back from a serious knee injury should put him in good stead for it.
Samantha from Keilor says: Reimers or Lonergan would be my top 2 choices. It's going to be different but exciting seeing the #9 back out there. I'm sure who ever is given this number will wear it with pride.

Alecia from Melbourne says: I've worn number 9 since mid 2000 and as I only got a new jumper last year I wish for Paddy Ryder to get it, as I couldn't decide between 9 and 30 last year, I just stuck with what I already had.
Jeff from Ceduna, S.A. says: From a distance Bachar seems very down to earth and sensitive to the influence he can have on others. If he has the same fight and discipline he will be a good for enhancing the significance of #9 in future years.
Graeme Wilkinson from Bendigo says: I think Alwyn Davey should get the #9. He follows Rama's massive courage, but in a different way. The way he carries himself on the field should rule him the best fit for the number 9.
