The Bombers are developing an imposing forward line with young guns emerging to join, and eventually replace, aging superstars Matthew Lloyd and Scott Lucas.

This week’s poll question asks who will be our leading goal kicker in five season’s time (2013)?

Last week we asked who should get Adam Ramanauskas’ number 9 next season with Kyle Reimers emerging the clear winner with 39.14% of the vote.

The vote for ‘other’ was second with 20.94% with Bachar Houli third (17.03%) from David Myers (9.78%), Alwyn Davey (6.85%) and Heath Hocking (6.26%).

Here is what some of the fans had to say about who should get Ramanauskas’ number:

Jan Adams from New York City says: Kyle had such a fantastic year and I think Rama would be proud to have him wear the number nine for the rest of his career... which should be a long, prosperous one!!

Corey Moore from Victoria, Langwarrin says: Kyle Reimers would be the way to go but, if not Kyle, go for Myers. Go the Dons, very, very good supporter for the mighty Bombers :) from a 13 yr old

Philip from Huntly, Victoria says: Kyle Reimers to wear the number 9 in 2009. He has shown this year that he can take on the game, be committed and play some strong football - this number should be on the back of a player you love to watch play the game.

Diane Trask from Bacchus Marsh says: Kyle definitely. He shows heart and determination as Rama did. Reimers is going to be a great player which Rama could have been if not for his illness. That’s not to say Rama was not a great player, he was.

Cameron from Gold Coast says: I reckon if Kyle Reimers wants it he should have it.

Amy from VIC says: I think the number should be retired. I know it doesn't happen very often.

John & Robina Smith from Craigburn Farm. S.A. says: With special players that have given great service to the club, I believe that it is unfair to burden a young player with the expectations that are associated with a particular number. Allow the youngsters to make their own mark in the club.

Caitlin from VIC says: I hope none of the above playas wear the no 9 because I hate it when playas change numbers! They make their number their own and as a supporter I hate getting a new number on my back! I currently have number 37 and would die if Reimers changed numbers! Hopefully a new player gets it! (or Ben Cousins if we pick him up, lol).

Mike S from Vic says: I would give Prismall, Remiers, Houli or Lonergan, Rama’s great number 9.

Matt from Ferntree Gully, VIC says: Unless there is someone with a ""reason"" to get number 9 I wouldn't be surprised to see Prismall get the number... His fight back from a serious knee injury should put him in good stead for it.

Samantha from Keilor says: Reimers or Lonergan would be my top 2 choices. It's going to be different but exciting seeing the #9 back out there. I'm sure who ever is given this number will wear it with pride.

Nathan Boyes from Sunbury says: With so many people voting for Kyle Reimers, I might as well agree with them.

John Copeland from Queensland says: The player would have to be very courageous and I can't think of a more courageous player than Sam Lonergan.

Alecia from Melbourne says: I've worn number 9 since mid 2000 and as I only got a new jumper last year I wish for Paddy Ryder to get it, as I couldn't decide between 9 and 30 last year, I just stuck with what I already had.

Jeff from Ceduna, S.A. says: From a distance Bachar seems very down to earth and sensitive to the influence he can have on others. If he has the same fight and discipline he will be a good for enhancing the significance of #9 in future years.

Graeme Wilkinson from Bendigo says: I think Alwyn Davey should get the #9. He follows Rama's massive courage, but in a different way. The way he carries himself on the field should rule him the best fit for the number 9.

Connor Makropoulos from Melbourne says: I guess I would like to see Kyle Reimers wear number 9 because his current number is a little high. But I don’t think who wears number 9 matters, it matters how well they play in number 9.
