It was a tough weekend for footy tipsters and that was reflected in the James Hird Footy Tipping Competition with not one tipster managing to select eight winners for the round. In fact it was so tough, only one tipster managed to select seven winners. This of course means that a $200 Bomber Shop voucher is up for grabs this round. Rob Farquhar continues his brilliant start to the season and leads the competition by two. He has started the season with two perfect rounds and a six on the weekend. Kevan Thomas, Ron Hooper and Geoff Lacy are all hot on his heels with 20 winners for the season.

Neil Kyle, Sam Pupillo, Simon Walsh, Elefters Manoussakis and Hiram Garlick were the casualties from round three after being well placed after two rounds but they weren't alone. The action will hot up even further this round with a number of games far from cut and dried. A for those of you who still wish to enter the competition, you can do so up until round five. You will get the average score for the rounds you missed which still gives you a chance to catch the leaders.
