McPhee and Lloyd take a swing at the Aus Open
More commonly recognised for their talents on the footy field, Essendon players Matthew Lloyd and Adam McPhee are set to test their tennis ability at the Australian Open today Thursday 18 January. In a battle of strength, speed and accuracy, our very own Bomber stars will take on two Collingwood players to see who has the fastest tennis serve.

The boys need your support so if you are heading to the tennis today, be sure to drop into the Will Call hut (Yellow hut) on the Rod Laver arena side between 11.30am and 1pm to cheer them on.
Matthew Lloyd has been given a week on light training duties due to some tightness in his hamstring. The good news is that the tightness is not in the hamstring that saw him miss the vast majority of season 2006 and he will resume full training next week.
