“The rehab is going well and my knee is progressing as we thought,” Prismall said.
“Since I’ve done my other knee, I sort of know what to expect so now I’m starting to really progress with my running and I’m starting to do more in the gym so hopefully it’s smooth sailing from here.”
The midfielder sustained his first ACL tear whilst playing for Geelong against St Kilda in 2008.
“Some parts of the rehab have been easier but yet some parts have been harder (the second time around), probably because I know how long of a process it can take.”
“At the moment though, it is going well and hopefully with the experience I had from my last knee injury, I’ll be able to do a few things differently.”
Prismall said working with injured pair Courtenay Dempsey and Jason Winderlich had assisted his recovery, as the trio strive to get back to the field following their respective knee injuries.
“Both Courtenay and Jason have both been going really well and I’ve been working with them a little bit,"" he said.
“Obviously they’re both three months ahead of me in terms of their rehab, but it is always good to bounce ideas off them and see how they’re going. They are both progressing well and are on track to have a good year I’m sure.”
Prismall told BomberTV he was focused on making a full recovery ahead of the 2012 season.
“Apart from getting my knee right at the moment, I’m not focused on too much else. Hopefully that will take care of itself and then once I start back playing, I obviously want to have a good year and get back into the senior side as quickly as I can,” Prismall said.
""I also want to make sure that when I do get back playing, I am fully ready to go.”
Following last week’s membership launch, Prismall urged all Bomber fans to get behind the team in season 2012.
“I just urge all Bomber fans to get out and buy yourself a membership to get on board with the Club as early as you can.”
