Essendon will have a further two forced changes to make for this weekend's match against the Swans after both were outed for a week at the AFL tribunal tonight. Lloyd was suspended for a week after being foung guilty of unduly rough play while Moorcroft was found guilty of a striking charge. Lloyd pleaded not guilty to his charge, claiming that contact with Carlton's Michael Mansfield was unavoidable. However the tribunal did not agree with Lloyd describing his actions as ""reckless"" and suspended him for a week.
Moorcroft pleaded guilty to striking Carlton's Darren Hulme with an open hand and was suspended for a week. The third Essendon player to face the tribunal last night was Mark McVeigh on a wrestling charge. McVeigh pleaded guilty and was fined $1200. The two suspensions come on top of news that Joe Misiti will miss up to 10 weeks with a knee injury.
