Essendon was the second most searched Australian sporting organisation throughout 2012 only being beaten by AFL premiers Sydney.
Google released the figures outlining the ‘most searched’ queries for the year from a range of different categories including TV, Food, Drinks and Sport.
Essendon also performed extremely well in the Global Sport team rankings finishing third behind Sydney and EPL giants Liverpool Football Club.
